OK. So this is for us users who are going to be working on the fandom fiction project. If you aren't apart of the project then I please ask that you stay out of the discussion unless you have some advice. You're free to roam around here and see what we have so far. [][][] Alright, lets get this started. First, we need to figure out what format we are going to write this in and whether or not it is going to be in first-person or third-person. I vote for 3rd person. We should all use the same writing program, as well. If that's cool with everyone else. I recommend a writing software that saves the document as a .odt file, for that works best with ff.net. Start flooding the place with comments/questions and lets see if we can't work out the plot. |

If you want, why don't you whip up a quick little one-shot? It doesn't have to be long at all, I just want to see what type writing style you have and how smoothly you can write. I don't expect a master piece (I'm not even a stupendous writer, ask anyone ;D) |

I vote third as well. Third is generally easier to write  I'm using yWriter for planning currently. Planning, not writing. Screenshots
Supposedly some versions of Microsoft Word can save as an odt file :see HERE*edit* 2007 and 2010 versions of Word can save as OpenDocument Text. I don't know about the other versions. |

I got your short story and I liked it! Besides a few little mistakes (which everyone makes and will undoubtedly be in the story regardless) it was very good. I have no problem in letting you be a part of the story! One more thing, can you write 3rd person? Because I think that's how we are going to write the story. I have yWriter, but don't like it, but that might be because I've only used it for a couple minutes. But yeah, you will probably be are best bet for planning this story, keeping the plot right and making sure we don't go and get super random with each chapter. [][][] We should also have someone to help check for mistakes in the chapters. I think with all of us reading them there wouldn't be many (if any) but if we wanted to I bet Nightshade and/or mycove would help. I could ask them maybe. |
