Hooligans is a good idea, but somewhat only fans of the books here would get it. The movie doesn't really make any reference of them being part of the Hairy Hooligan tribe. So maybe Berkians would be best? |

Bronies = brothers + ponies, Pegasister = pegasus + sister...so according to this we can build a better fandom name, berkians its perfect but we need to be a pandemic in 4 chan like the bronies was !!!!! |

Maybe everyone has read the books? I'm not saying it's not a good idea, it's really clever! But maybe to people outside the fandom and also within the fandom wouldn't necessarily get the reference. Unless you explained that Hiccup's tribe is the Hairy Hooligans, that's why we call ourselves such. And we are just throwing stuff around :3 maybe more people will come around to your side, and want to be called Hooligans (we kind of act like them sometimes XD) |
