Terrible Terror

Until suddenly, there was a loud roar - Which pierced the silence so abruptly that it would make a yak keel over and die of fright! It had come from above the Riders' heads and seemed to be echoing after them as the boat continued to carve its way through the water. But that wasn't the end .. Nuh uh, no! That was just the beginning! You see, should the Riders happen to glance up .. They would see, hovering not 3 feet above their heads, one of the biggest Changewings ever spotted by a Viking - As far as anyone knew of course, for no one had come across a Changewing of such monstrous proportions and lived to tell the tale! The Changewing glared down at the little boat and the scrawny-looking bunch of vikings sitting within. He - Cause anyone who's anyone knows that the most intimidating dragons must be male (  ) - Seemed to be looking into each Riders very soul to determine which one he should take down first. Following the small vessel, the Changewing dove down to take an even closer look at his next meal. There were shadows that seemed to dance across the clouds above him in an almost mesmerising way, until one shadow became a little too curious and stuck it's head out of the cloud cover. The adolescent Changewing just managed to move out of the way as the first Monstrous Changewing shot a deadly, green, acidic, slime ball in the adolescent's general direction. Unfortunately, the adolescent's flying partner wasn't so lucky and got an acid shot to the wing - Which brought on a most amusing explosion of chaos as he came plummeting down towards the little boat of Dragon Riders ....

(Hmm....I'm not sure I agree with you, Viggo. And I don't think Stormfly or Windshear agree either...) "TITAN CHANGEWING!" screamed Grace. "And also lots of little ones but WE NEED TO MOVE FASTER!" The boat sped up, leaving a bunch of spray in its wake. The Titan Changewing, looking bored, flapped its wings a few times, and easily caught up to them. "Yep. We're doomed." |

Dagur gasped as a small Changewing narrowly avoided falling directly into his lap, instead hitting the water beside him with a huge SPLASH. "Guys, I think it's raining DRAGONS now!!!" He squeaked and leaped out of the way just in time for another Changewing to land in the boat in the exact place he had been sitting a moment ago. "Gah!!" He looked down after a moment and giggled awkwardly, realizing he was sitting neatly on Grace's lap. "Hehe .. oh .. sorry." (XD) |

Grace glared at Dagur and pushed him off, but that was soon forgotten. The Titan Changewing was coming down on them, and on its back was a very familiar rider... "THROCK?!" (Sorry, I just had to) |
