It doesn't take long for things to settle down, and soon everything is back to normal. The attack on the Hunters is successful, and only Dagur, Viggo, Ryker and a handful of Hunters escape prison. A few days later, Zira and Delta leave the Edge. As the two dragons fly off, an odd feeling settles over the island. Yes, it was nice and normal for a while, but now... Things are getting weird again. It starts at midnight. Everyone is asleep, every little creature, even the trees. A council meeting is held in the same building the person who rescued Colby went into. A few hours later, the meeting is adjourned. The final decision is to stop the ancient force at all costs. Meanwhile, the being stirs, deep underground. The next morning, a dragon rider is missing. |
