They continue walking, the girl stopping to check the map every once in a while. Every time she does, she notices, worriedly, that the purple dot is fading and moving a little bit farther while they get closer...

The girl picks up the pace, running lightly and quickly over the stones of the underground passages. They run through more passages and chambers and openings and clearings until suddenly, she stops and holds up a hand for silence.

From this side of the room, they can clearly see that the tunnel in front of them slopes upwards. A faint sound of water burbling signifies that the tunnel exit is by a brook or stream. From above, they can also hear the sound of footsteps marching over the land.
