Meyla nodded and took the basket of fish. "Send your dragons away. Let's do this." She smiled and lugged the basket down into the cove and dropped it heavily on the ground. Kaida must have hear because she poked her head out pretty quickly, and eyed the basket. "Come on girl, I brought you more fish." Kaida looked around, and Meyla was glad she did not spot the boys at the top of the cliff. She inched forward and Meyla opened the lit and three a fish towards her, which she quickly inhaled. Now she was fully out from behind the boulders. |

Hiccup seent Toothless back to wait in the woods. Not far from where they were but far enough away to not be seen. He watched quietly as Meyla got the dragon out. It made him wonder if there was something about the cove and Night Furies |

The dragon quickly nuzzled Meyla's hand for more, and she happily handed the dragon a few more fish. She looked up and smiled at the boys. Maybe this dragon could be tamed. She certainly seemed friendly enough. She opened the basket and showed the whole thing to Kaida, who happily shoved her face in. |

"Yeah I'd really hate to miss the Axe Throwing competition," Vlad agreed. He smiled at Meyla and sent Volt away with Toothless. He then climbed up the cove, crouching next to Hiccup. The dragon came out and began to eat the fish. He would be able to tell she was a girl even if Meyla hadn't said so. She was beautiful. At first she didn't notice them but then she turned. looked directly at the both of them and smiled. She then proceed to shove her face back into the fish and continue eating happily. |

(lol I like your LOK signature there Chase... XD) Meyla laughed and looked up to the boys. "Maybe she'll come with us." She said, and the dragon didn't care because she was too busy stuffing her face. She finished in no time though, and pressed her nose to the girl for more. "Sorry girl I don't have any more... maybe I'll come back tonight with more hm?" She pet the dragon and hiked up the cliff back to the boys. The dragon she could see was still watching her down in the cove. "Thanks for letting me have the fish guys. She's really not that bad... I think she was just scared and hungry. I named her Kaida. It means 'little dragon'". |

"So if she's here..." Hiccup wondered out loud. "Where did she come from." He wanted to find out. And one place came to mind. He got that look on his face. As if he were about to do something stupid or crazy again. Though it would have to wait. They should be getting back to Thawfest. |

[Thanks Monica LOK is rather amazing!!!] "No probs Meyla! Kaida? That's a nice name," Vlad said "but she's definitely not a 'small' dragon," he chuckled. He looked up at the sun as the headed back to town. The third event was probably about to start and they didn't even have lunch. He hoped he could muster up enough strength form breakfast to throw the Axe properly. "Where did she come from hmmmm," Vlad wondered aloud to Hiccup's question. "Where do you think Hiccup?" |

Meyla smiled. "She's not small, but you can tell she's young. Probably a bit younger than Toothless." She noticed Hiccup's look, "Oh no you don't... we have Thawfest, and you have the dragon races tomorrow. I think she may have come from the south? There are more deserted islands down there and one could easily house a Fury and her babies." |

"Whaat?" Hiccup asked trying to sound like he wasn't planning something. "I'm thinking of ways to beat Snotlout... " He bit his lip and looked around hoping he sounded conniving. "Okay fine. I think south might be right. South as in Isle of Night. I know it sounds crazy, and it was all a trick by Alvin at first, but think about it. They've never been seen on Dragon Island, and most others are too dangerous for a dragon family with young ones. " He looked over at Toothless who was in the trees then back down to the cove at Kaida. "She's defiantly a bit younger, I wonder if they came from the same nest?" |
