*Viggo throws a quick glare at Heather and her lack of blindfold before looking back at Dagur.* You took your time, Dagur! I wasn't sure whether you were going to make it! But clearly you hold you little family rather high up on your list of 'important things'. Alright .. Let's get on with it then .. *Walks over to the side of the ship and points down to the surface of the water directly next to outer wood of the ship.* Your Skrill is here .. Ryker, by now, should be ready to release it on my signal. *The Skrill is submerged almost fully in the water in a cage big enough to hold 2 dragons, with just enough space left at the top for his head to be out of the water in order to breath.* As you can see, he doesn't look very happy! Well, you can fix that. And your dear little Heather- *Walks back over to stand near Heather and places his hand on her shoulder.* Didn't eat any of her dinner last night and is probably getting more hungry by the minute. So, hand over the jewels to my captain there .. *Gestures to a man who's standing close by.* He will check to make sure you actually kept your word, then you can have your precious sibling and dragon back, get off my ship, and we shall part ways until a future time when you require my services. By the way, what did happen to the dear, old Queen? I don't believe Ryker did come out successful in his attempt at subduing her. If you do happen to see her, tell her to watch her back. Ryker doesn't take defeat very well, even if it wasn't intentional by either party. I'm giving you this piece of advice freely, use it wisely. *Waits for Dagur to respond, while keeping an eye on Heather to make sure she doesn't attempt to knock him out while he's distracted.* |

*continues to sit on Windshear as she hovers above the deck* *leans forward on the shiny silver neck and studies Viggo* Thought you said you were a man of your word, Grimborn? I'm not discussing ANYTHING unless you release my sister and Skrilly. The jewels for the scroll, remember?? Heather and Skrilly have nothing to do with this. *opens the chest and throws a ruby at Viggo's feet* Plenty more where that came from .. but you know that already, don't you? *growls as his mouth curls into a sneer* Release. My. Dragon. *draws his sword and points it at Viggo slowly* NOW. |

*Gives a bored sort of a smile at Dagur's display of emotion. Leaves the Ruby sitting at his feet.* Yes .. Yes .. You are quite right .. I did say that the Jewels were in exchange for the scroll. *Pulls the scroll out of his belt and holds it up for Dagur to see.* Here it is, Dagur! *Shows Heather as well and briefly unrolls it in front of her so she can scan the first few words before rolling it back up again.* The information you requested is right here. As you said, they aren't a part of it. Ryker! Relea- *Catches sight of Luna and the other lions.* Stop them. But don't kill the leader. *Vikings/Guards, from the other ships of the fleet now surrounding Viggo's ship, come swarming onto the part of the deck where the lions are standing and start doing battle with them.* *Meanwhile, Viggo unties Heather from the mast of that ship, after picking up the Ruby (  ), and leads her further away from the violent scene. Crosses onto the ship closest to the previous one and stands with Heather on the deck. Calls to Ryker, who is sitting in a small boat next to Skrilly's cage, looking a little less tough than normal at having been given the job of releasing 'Dagur's Dragon' - the Skrill who had already gotten the better of them once.*Move the dragon cage away from that ship .. It's going to sink. *Ryker gives his brother a somewhat surprised look that quickly turns into a glare, before shifting himself and the dragon, plus its cage, as quickly as possible away from the ship - which realistically didn't happen very fast .. As the cage was rather heavy and having Skrilly inside, as you can imagine, made it no easier or less awkward to try get speedily across the water.* *As this is all happening with Heather and the Grimborn Brothers, the Vikings/Guards from the other ships manage to somehow flatten the 'rock lion' beneath one of the masts that they totally destroyed in the process of attacking. The 'water lion' is cornered into one of the rooms off deck, and the Vikings collapse the roof in on it.* *Viggo calls the others off away from Luna and gives her a levelled look.* Back off, and stop trying to attack, or ... *Nods at Ryker and holds up a dagger across the front of Heather's throat.* *Ryker slightly loosens the rope holding Skrilly's cage above water - making it slip just a little bit further under, but still above water enough for him to breathe.* Viggo: If you don't, then the boy will lose both his beloved dragon and his dearest little sister. The choice is yours. ( I'm so sorry, Heather! You've been getting moved from one thing to another, barely being able to do anything except 'looks at ....' or 'is pulled along by ....'!! Hopefully soon you'll be able to do more than that!!  )

XD) *now hovers above the other ship, having followed Viggo, Heather, Ryker and his Skrill across* *stares helplessly at Viggo and Heather, his sword still suspended in one hand, and the chest still clutched tight in the other* *goes pale and looks from Heather to Skrilly and back to Heather again* GRIMBORN, IF YOU LOWER THAT CAGE ANY FURTHER, YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!! AND IF YOU LEAVE ONE SCRATCH ON HEATHER, YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!! AND IF YOU DON'T RELEASE THEM BOTH RIGHT NOW- *lifts his hand up in Ryker's direction, signalling Windshear to prepare to shoot* .. you can say goodbye to little brother .. Your choice. *looks pleadingly at Luna* BACK OFF, LUNA. FALL BACK. I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE SOMEWHERE. WE NEED YOU BACK. MY SISTER'S LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. I KNOW YOU. THE REAL LUNA WOULDN'T HURT HEATHER. WELL .. DON'T HURT HER NOW. RETREAT!! .. please. *looks back to Viggo and raises his hand a little higher* Last chance, Grimborn .. |

*Glances at Dagur, then at Luna, then looks back at Dagur.* There is no need to be so dramatic, Dagur .. Ryker, you can release the Skrill. *Waves his hand towards Ryker and the Skrill in a 'I Could Care Less' fashion.* *Ryker shoves the door of the cage open so the Skrill can get out.* Viggo: Now .. How shall we do this? .. If you land on the deck over there at the far end, leaving the chest there and returning to hovering above the ship, then I can send Heather to where you left the chest to retrieve it and bring it to the middle of the deck - you staying where you are, of course. At the same time, Ryker will receive the scroll from me and meet Heather in the middle of the deck, where we, you and I, Dagur, will not be near enough to interfere .. Ryker and Heather can exchange the scroll for the chest, then walk back to their respective siblings. *Glances at Heather to see if she's following what he's saying. Looks at Dagur and raises an eyebrow at him.* Do you understand and agree to the terms? I believe they are suitable for both parties. *Looks back over at Luna on the other ship.* But if you double-cross me, then she .. *Points to Luna.* .. dies. Does everyone understand? *Holds up his hand in a sweeping sort of motion as if to inquire of everyone who is present. Keeps his other hand on Heather's shoulder while awaiting Dagur's answer.* ( Heather, I don't think your feet are tied up, you're not blindfolded, but I think your hands are still tied behind you .. I couldn't see where it said anything about untying you completely, just that you were no longer tied to the mast .. And you would've had to walk, so tying your feet would be pointless .. I think. ) |

*smiles happily at Skrilly as the dragon approaches him and then hovers beside him* *looks back at Viggo* Alright. *lands on the deck with Windshear after looking around cautiously at Viggo's other ships* *sits on Windshear on the deck, holding the chest firmly under his left arm* Send Heather over now. I'll hand the chest to her myself. *glances up at Skrilly's wings, shadowing him from overhead* *glances at Luna, then returns his gaze to Viggo* |
