Meyla was busying herself in the medic hut. The few nurses or doctors that were shipped on the convoy with them welcomed her medical knowledge and extra hands with open arms, but she had no idea or recollection as to where she learned any of the skills she knew. Her suspicions rose a little more every day- she guessed something had happened to her before her shipment. The dragon battle was a blow to the clan, a few had major injuries. Luckily there were enough to keep hunting parties up. A good idea of the land they now occupied had also been made. The mountain, a river, a lake even... Kaj, after the battle, bandaged his left upper arm and set out again with his quiver and bow. The prey needed to feed them now more than ever- weakness was a definite danger. A noise caught his attention... and he knew instantly that it was a dragon. His light hair would be a give-away, so he ducked beneath a brush as the creature bumbled towards him. It was clearly injured... and he recognized it as soon as it came into sight. The black beast he had shot. It's face was scrunched in a pained expression, and it's leg going at a limp. But it kept going, until it smelled him that is. It's face turned towards him, and he finally caught a glimpse of the damage he had caused it. One of it's eyes... was an utter mess. He stood up cautiously, as it sniffed him. Any movement and he would be dead. It nudged his chest, and he stuck out a hand to touch its head, but the dragon backed away. He left quickly, but could tell it was following him. Exactly what he was planning. |

[I'll get that to you as soon as possible. WELCOME BACK MONICA!!!!] Vlad thought for a moment. "Let's improvise. I'm sure the dragons can do some fishing of their own as well." He walked towards the lake nearby, Serena and the others following behind. |

 ~Hunter's POV~ "Alright then." Hunter said, patting Galli's neck, who started to follow Vlad. He turned his head around, looking at Windleasher. "Hey, are you coming?"  ~Galli's POV~Galli followed the other human in the direction of a nearby lake.  ~Ika's POV~ 'My name's Ika, what's yours?' She said, smiling. |

Vlad turned back at Hunter and smiled. As the reached the lakes edge he was glad to see it was teeming with fish. Serena quickly dove into the water and swam to the depths. She came up with two large fish in her jaws. She dropped one at Vlad's feet and proceeded to munch on the other. "Wow thanks. I didn't know you could swim. I guess those large wings serve more than just flying!" She answered by swallowing the rest of her fish and diving again, soaking Vlad with the icy water. |

Kaj snuck through the forest, like he had done a hundred times before. The paint on his face, only helping to disguise him a bit- but his white hair didn't help, so he had smeared it with mud. There were only a few in his tribe with white hair... all of noble birth. But Kaj didn't think he wanted to be chief. The elders would say, that the ones born with his similar paleness, were touched by the gods, and left to shine like the moon. Though he didn't know what to believe. A loud commotion ahead caught his attention. Was his entire tribe moving? Why were they way out here? The night fury behind him stayed silent, perking her ears as listened as well. Kaj didn't like that the strange dragon had followed him, but it hadn't harmed him yet- besides, its eye clearly needed tending. What would do this to a dragon anyways? The large clearing ahead and big... home-like objects, and a giant metal dragon. Kaj stayed in the brush and frowned, confused. Who were they? (If you guys didn't know, MC_Oceans has decided to introduce a native race of humans. Kaj is the first of this kind and so now he has a new bio pretty much.) Meyla helped a young man with his broken arm outside to enjoy the sunshine. The hunting patrols had left already and the colony was quiet once again. Though she enjoyed her duties as 'fill in nurse', she wanted to go hunting a gain... because for some reason, she was good at that too. |

"...are you coming?" She didn't quite catch the first word, but she understood what he was saying. She got off shakily onto her feet, then followed Hunter to the fishing spot. The lake's waters were swarmed by dozens of fish glinting off dapples of light. Her paw jerked around into the clear water, trying to snag an unlucky fish. |

[Kired's form is coming soon.] Kired was climbing a mountain when he saw the metal dragon come down. He hid behind a rock for a while before deciding that it was safe to walk again. He heard the rumbling stop long before he decided this. He ran down the mountain, falling only once twice, and ran to investigate the metal dragon. He was curious, and wondered what was going on. He had arrived and was amazed by what he had seen. So many things he had never seen before. He was careful to stay out of sight, but he couldn't help but wonder why dragons were with them. They normally hunted creatures like him, and the unknown beings looked like him and his people. He was really confused. He decided to continue watching the new creatures the dragons seemingly befriended. |

~Hunter's POV~ Hunter saw Windleasher getting up, so he smiled a bit and turned back to face the oncoming lake, watching the few waves in the distance. When they reached it, he got off Galli's back, getting the sleeping Stormy and sitting down by the edge of the lake, watching his big dragon friend jump on it. "Don't forget to bring some for Stormy!" He said, petting the little dragon that was comfortably sleeping on his lap. He watched Serena and Vlad, the latter being soaked by the female dragon. Hunter couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Galli came back up, with some small fishes and a large one, which he dropped into Hunter's arms. "Thanks!" He patted Galli's snout before letting him go back into the fishing. "Hey little friend, I have something for you." Hunter woke up the little dragon and gave him the fish, who ate slowly, appreciating his meal. "Hey, how's the eye?" Hunter asked Vlad, waiting for a response, knowing about his "secret abilities". ~Galli's POV~When they reached the lake, Galli felt the human get off his back, taking Stormy with him, to let him swim a bit. He jumped inside the lake without knowing what his friend said, scaring some fishes around, grabbing a few unfortunate ones with his jaws. He reached back to the surface, observing his human friend with Stormy, he dropped a big one he'd got into the human's arms, receiving a "thanks" and a pat at his snout. He swallowed the other fishes he'd got and jumped back into the water, searching for more. [Yes, he knows about Vlad's secret Chase, it'll be explained within my next post.] |
