Viggo sighed and watched them chatting amongst themselves. He glanced up at the sun, which was rapidly setting in the sky, and stepped over to the Riders. "Look, I don't mean to be any trouble - really. But we really should start actually 'getting' somewhere, or at least make some sort of camp, then start again in the morning - unless you all prefer to travel in the dark. Just remember that you don't have your dragons to protect you, or at least you shouldn't have your dragons to protect you .." He gave the group a sharp look and returned to speaking. "Either way, let's stop having these 'quick chats' about what to do regarding my coming along with you, and make some headway instead. I am coming, you don't really need to be overly suspicious! Or at least so suspicious that it's slowing us down quite a bit. Make the decision to trust me - Just a little, at least! - And let's get a move on." He patted Dagur's shoulder roughly and turned to the girls. "Who agrees? .." |

After quite some time of walking, the group came to the edge of a forest clearing. The setting sun illuminated the tall, thick trees, bathing them in red light so they appeared to be glowing. Grace stopped and looked up at the layered patterns in the sky and noticed something odd about the tree line-when she turned away from the sun, the treetops made a 'V' against the sky, seeming like it was standing calmly in the middle of a great fire. She muttered something under her breath. |

Viggo gave a brief sigh and sat down on a nearby log. He was already getting sick of travelling with these Riders. Dagur never seemed to stop complaining! And the continuous glances from the girls were starting to make him slightly uncomfortable. He rolled his eyes and looked around at the rest of the group. "Yes, come on, Astrid. You haven't got us lost, have you? .. Now that would be an interesting story to tell .. 'Rider Gets Team Lost. Is She Any Good At All Without Her Dragon?' ..." He smirked at Astrid, then glanced at the trees and the setting sun - Aware that Grace seemed very interested in whatever she was squinting about. ( : D ) |

Dagur wiggled his toes and glared at Viggo. "Right. Someone will have to take night watch. We can't have you slipping away in the night, can we??" He looked at the sky and then looked at Grace. "You and Heather can go find some bark for shelter. Looks like it's gonna rain tonight." He pinched between his eyes in frustration. "Astrid and me can stay here and keep an eye on Grimborn." |

She leaves with Heather, and fifteen minutes later, the girls return with their arms full of wood:shelter wood, firewood, and bark for the shelter. "Okay. Now that Heather and I are back, who wants to go search for dinner? " |
