Striker nodded to Toothless. "That's really good. Doesn't Hiccup like to invent things also?" He tilted his head before nodding. "Aidan and I like to fly around the island to clear our heads if something happens. It's really nice, Berk is alot bigger than you think." |

Vlad watched on with interest until Meyla retired to his tent. He stood and walked over to Jay who looked a bit crestfallen. "Don't worry Jay, it's not your fault," he said comfortingly. "This is a lot for her to take in and she's just a bit confused. I'm sure she'll come around eventually but for now I think you should just let her sort things out on her own. I think you should go for now but you know where to find us. Maybe you should come back in about a week, I'm sure she'll have cooled off by then." He knew a week sounded like an overly long time but he knew they'd be gone by tomorrow in search of his sister and for some reason he was reluctant to tell Jay that they'd be gone and he didn't know exactly when they'd return. He hoped a week would be enough time, It's not that he deemed her untrustworthy but he just felt kinda secretive about his recent discovery and preferred it that only Meyla knew, at least until things were confirmed. He trusted her with his life. That and Jay might ask too many questions if he told her they'd be gone. Questions he really wouldn't want to answer. |

Shard after catching a whole pile high of fish was feeling pretty proud of herself. She went into the forest and picked up enough firewood to cook the fish. After Siren lit the fire it wasn't long until the fish was ready. Maiden after having about five fish plopped down onto his belly groaning. Shard lam augured at the full terror. Setting him under the shelter she noticed that there were too many fish for them both to eat desided that it would be a nice of repaying Vlad and Volt for giving her the lift earlier. Putting the fish in a large basket she headed off toward his campsite with the map. Before she knew it she looked up from her map to see the clearing it was located in. |

hi im réka im developing a mildly unhealthy obsession with obiwan kenobi (more like obiwan kenoBAE am i right) my personal tumblr is ninja-stop im also writing a fantasy/humor novel called RESET which i won nanowrimo 2015 with i have a writing tumblr for it if you wanna check that out yeah thats it this probably isnt what should go in a signature but w/e i have 2 pet buns | |

Vlad wanted to say maybe even more but he held his tongue. "Yes about a week." he nodded at her, "Please odn't tell anyone, well not that there's anyone who'd really care about a wild DragonWing's goings and comings. He sighed then smiled at her. "Uhmmmm bye I guess...." he said politely before turning and entering his tent to join Meyla and comfort her. |

Shard watched as the scene unfolded from behind a tree. Deciding they needed some time alone she set the large basket of fish down near the tent and used a stick to draw be symbol of a Skrill in th dirt to tell Vlad and Meyla it was only her. Then she started walking back to her camp hoping that whatever Vlad was searching for he would find it. |

Vlad lay down next to her on his bed putting his hands on face and sighing. He looked up at her and smiled. "I told her you were just a bit overwhelmed and that you didn't mean to be rude. She didn't seem to be offended and she didn't say anything to important. I told she could check us back in about a week. She asked why and I told her we'd be gone. She tried to get me to say more but I didn't." He sighed again and stared at the roof of his tent. Volt's snores could be heard as he dozed in the corner of the tent with Kaida. |

Meyla just sighed. She wasn't sure what to think. "My whole life my family was that lovely couple on the island... I never knew anyone else. Suddenly I had a real mother? and a sister?" She put her face in her hands and took a deep breath. She felt a tear begin rolling down her cheek. She reached out and took Vlad's hand, gripping it tight and pulling it onto her lap. "Thank you..." |

"I can actually say I know a bit how you feel. I used to be alone ever since my parents died when I was a child. Always fended for myself with only myself and eventually Volt to care for. He was all I had. And now I might have a sister. And now I have you." He pulled her slowly back to lay down next to him and embraced her in a hug, tears streaming down his face. He too felt overwhelmed and he finally let his emotions go in the privacy of his tent and the people that mattered most to him. Volt and now Kaida and even more importantly, Meyla. |
