(Noooooo- lol well go with the volcanic thing) Meyla leaned against his arm and pressed her cheek to his shoulder. "Ha, yeah they've been flying too much." Kaida groaned from somewhere up the beach, already half asleep. "Someone deffinitely lives here. Well find them. We are pretty good trackers," she chuckled. "Don't worry." She kissed his cheek and lay back in the sand to stare up at the night sky that glittered with stars. |

[LOL. I think Imma make her ambush them in the night to speed things up] Vlad followed her view as she talked and noticed the footprints as well. He nodded. "Yeah but we're also tired trackers," he chuckled. He went to lay down in the sand next to her, his cheek warm from her kiss. He wrapped one arm protectively around her and closed his eyes, listening to the sound of Meyla's steady breathing. |

Meyla curled up against Vlad's side and tried to fall asleep, but she hadn't been getting much this whole trip. Her heart still raced and the unfamiliar settings and humidity felt so unnatural she would never feel at home enough to sleep that night. She thought she could hear rustling in the trees, but realized it must have been the ocean breeze rattling the brush. (alrighty!) |

Vlad felt her shift and pulled her closer. "I know it's not what we're used to but we gotta try to sleep. We need it." He heard the trees rustle and stiffened a bit. It could have been the wind but it didn't sound natural. It was to abrupt. He listened again. Arya cursed silently. Her stupid horns had hit a branch. It was hard enough to sneak with her large wings but she just had to be the rare DragonWing to have a little something extra. She wished Nana was here with her but Nana had died months ago and she had left her old island in search of a new home. She had only been here three days and was planning to leave before the week was up but now she had these two and their dragons to deal with. After stalking them successfully for the better part of an hour she had now probably been caught. She could just fly away but there was another reason why she'd stayed. The male DragonWing had a tail just ike hers. She'd never seen one before. Usually when Nadder-born DragonWings were born they got Nadder wings not the tail but yet he had one. And Skrill wings, just like the Skrill who was curled up next to him. For a moment she had an amusing thought. What if the Skrill was his father? SDhe almost laughed but cut it before it started. The girl with him was also one she had never seen before. She was a pure NightFury dragon wing with a Nightfury curled up next to her. She didn't think they existed anymore. Even worse the DragonWings seemed to be in a relationship. It just got more interesting by the second. She had two choices now, attack before she was attacked or approach diplomatically. But what if they were convicts or something? What if they wanted to hurt her? Attacking might be the only viable choice. |

hi im réka im developing a mildly unhealthy obsession with obiwan kenobi (more like obiwan kenoBAE am i right) my personal tumblr is ninja-stop im also writing a fantasy/humor novel called RESET which i won nanowrimo 2015 with i have a writing tumblr for it if you wanna check that out yeah thats it this probably isnt what should go in a signature but w/e i have 2 pet buns | |

Meyla peered up through the sand when Vlad looked back at the forest. "I heard it too." She rolled over onto her stomach and peered into the woods. "I think we should confront it- it couldn't be dumb enough to attack a night fury, a skirl, AND two dragon wings..." She pointed out. She stood up and held a hand over the hilt of her blade. She gestured for Vlad to follow as she approached the woods. "Hello?" |

Vlad nodded quietly, glad that she had acknowledged him without him having to say anything. He followed her towards the woods and listened carefully as she called out. Volt and Kaida approached slowly behind them. Arya huffed indignantly. Apparently they didn't know who they were dealing with. Then the girl called out. Maybe they weren't hostile.... She thought for a few seconds. It was now or never. Although everything in her body and mind told her no, something else seemed to be whispering yes. She turned behind her and nodded, raising her thumb in a thumbs up sign. She knew NightWing would see her, or at least she hoped. She'd hate it if they were friendly and then Nightwing accidentaly singed them or blew them into the ocean. She took off from her branch and landed with a soft thud in front of the group. She could hear the dragons growling but she stood her ground. "Hello," she responded a bit cautiously, "My name is Arya Thorston. You are?" |

Meyla stood and waited in front of the woods for a moment in wait. The wind rustled the branches, and she was about to give up, when footsteps thudded in front of her. The girl, about the same height as herself, spoke... and her name! She instantly turned to Vlad. She knew it was a miracle- they had actually found her. She silenced the dragons and waited for Vlad to speak. |
