"The first event is the Sheep Lug" Gobber announced, he gave a basic explainatioon -Viking teens were to carry sheep across the arena and back, with out falling or dropping the sheep. If they did either they would loose the round. "Morning Meyla." Hiccup smiled Nice to see you this morning before the Thawfest games. " He glanced up when he heard Gobber's announcement. "Would you like to sit with Toothless and watch? Or do you think you'll sit in the stands?" He had offered a seat beside Toothless, because well, Toothless would love the company, and he knew how much she loved dragons. He'd seen her watching them closely in training, and she was always attentive in the training classes. |

Meyla smiled. "Morning Hic." She had just figured it was okay to call him that, since she heard many others doing the same. She heard Gobber's voice over the booming crowd- boy he had a set of lungs. She turned to him, "Thanks, but I'll sit next to you," she smiled. "Wait, aren't you competing? You're the best flyer on the planet," she looked at him confused as they walked towards the stands. She took a seat next to Hiccup anyways. She would feel odd about sitting next to someone else's dragon... as much as she wanted to. |

Ruff and Tuff were so busy wrestling they didn't hear Gobber's announcement. "Ruff! Tuff! The sheep lug's about to begin!!!" Vlad yelled at them. They didn't seem to notice. He sighed in exasperation. "Barf! Belch!" he yelled. The dragons turned to the sound of their names. "Come on guys, time to go!" He scanned the crowd for a place for The huge Zippleback and Volt to sit. Volt made most people nervous and preferred not to have him within shocking range. He spied Toothless and Meyla and Hiccup. Wait he thought, wasn't Hiccup competing? Ah well. less competition for him. He knew Meyla loved dragons and wouldn't mind Volt. He also knew that Hiccup and Toothless were accustomed to Volt and Barf and Belch and Hiccup might help to keep Barh and Belch under control. "Go sit next to Meyla, Hiccup and Toothless." He told the two dragons. They obediently began walking towards the trio. The twins finally seemed to notice that they're dragon was gone and stood up and brushed themselves off, Ruffnut smiling and Tuff wincing. They walked and limped over to Vlad. "About to start guys." Vlad told them "Start what?" Ruff asked. "TELL US!" Tuff added. Vlad sighed and motioned to the line of sheep. "Ohh!" They both said in unison "You could've told us we were about to start!" Tuff complained. Vlad shook his head "Yeah, my bad" he chuckled. "Come on Ruff let's go Lug some sheep." Tuff exclaimed. "Yeah," Ruff responded "See ya at the finish line Vlad!" Vlad smiled. "Yeah," he yelled after them teasingly "Just try not to keep me waiting to long!" He walked over to his sheep who looked a bit scared. "No worries sheepy" he muttered to the sheep " You'll be there in a jiffy!" |

"I've always kinda felt bad for the sheep in Thawfest...... " Asher voiced to Hunter. "Can't be that much fun to be lugged around, huh." She said, pushing back some of her curly black hair behind her ear. The first event was about to begin and everyone was lining up in front of their sheep. Some of the sheep looked kinda frightened. [I'm off to bed pretty soon. Night~] |

(so far no since no one's made her. We've kind of just been filling in for the missing characters like Snotlout and Astrid untill someone makes them officially. And Stoick and Gobber we're all just sharing) Hiccup nodded, "Speaking of which I probably should be going. Not Toothless you stay out of trouble and listen to Meyla " of course he would never be stern with his dragon, and he knew Toothless would never not listen. "I'll see you after. " He waved as he ran to ward his sheep. He just hoped this time he could make it across the finish line. He was stronger now than he used to be, not much, but he was sure carrying a sheep on his shoulders wouldn't be much trouble anymore. |

[Hahahahahahahahaha] Vlad saw Hiccup running over to the sheep next to his. Oh he thought, so he is competing. Ah well just a little more effort is all. He looked at Meyla and her three companions-Toothless, Barf and Belch and Volt. She could handle em. She actually looked happy to have the dragons at her side. He looked down at his sheep "You believe in me right?" He asked the somewhat scared yet despondent sheep. "Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhh!" "I knew you did!" he replied and smiled at the sheep. [Nitey Nite guys! I'm hitting the hay! Not very hard though cuz that'd be mean  ]

Meyla watched below and waved at Hiccup as he ran down to the arena. "Good luck!" A few dragons joined her and she smiled in greeting as she scratched their heads in turn. " one day, I will be in that ring, just watch," she told them, though she knew they probably couldn't understand her. She saw the riders in the arena, the boys and the few girls. She needed to prove herself somehow, but this event in particular probably wasn't the one for her anyways. She spotted Vlad and gave him a wave, and then spotted Hiccup, also sending him one. There were too many of her friends to cheer for she didn't know what to do. |
