Abby felt a little crowded. "Okay, fine. I'll get up." She threw her trash away and grabbed Hiccup's hand. "Come on, I'm sure you can help a little." Abby led Hiccup to the dance floor. "You start," she said. |

After Vlad and Meyla danced a few songs, he noticed Anna dancing by herself next to Hiccup and Abby. "Hey uhm Meyla, if you don't mind?" he motioned towards Anna hoping she got what he was asking. |

Meyla looked up at Vlad, "Oh... yeah sure," she smiled, though there was a string of jealousy in her gut. She went over to a few of her other friends and danced with them. She was so excited for the road trip! |

Vlad was glad she had understood. He wasn't trying to show her up, he was just trying to be a good friend. He had to admit, Anna was pretty but she wasn't really his type.....or was she. He shook his head, He came here with Meyla, he was only dancing with her because they were friends..jsut friends. He collected his thoughts and strode over to her. "Care for a dance?" he asked her smiling. |

Hiccup laughed at Abby's coment. "Oh come on now don't make me make yoi dance." He teased. He did anyways. A slow song came on. He felt a little awkward but held her one hand' "now, put your other hand on my shoulder" he explained as he placed his on her back. Anna jumped and lost her balance when the song changed tempos. She smiled caught herself and fixed her bangs so they wrre out of her face. She looked at Vlad "Oh sure I'd love to dance!" She nodded when he asked her. |

Abby blushed as she did what he told her. She looked at his chest to avoid eye contact. She smiled sheepishly as he started to lead her through the music's rhythm. The moment she started following, she felt a strange sense of peace, like all was right with the world. She looked at his face and smiled. "This is a great song, any idea what it is?" Abby giggled. |

Vlad smiled as she fixed her bangs and then he took her hand and pulled her close. After showing her how to hold him they quickly moved into the dance. It was a slow song and Vlad felt a bit awkward dancing with Anna but it was nice all the same. He just hoped he wouldn't trip. |

"Sounds to me like something from the Backstreet Boys" Hiccup said listening closer. "Soo... um..." He couldn't think of what else to say to Abby. He glanced up and noticed Meyla standing kind of on her own. He gave her a small smile. "You know you're a pretty good dancer. " Anna smiled looking up at Vlad. She felt so short compared to him. |

Abby chuckled. "Well, I wouldn't know. I don't follow many popular trends," she said. "I guess I'm a rebel like that." She wasn't sure what to say after that. Abby put her head on Hiccup's chest. |

"Why thank you," Vlad said a bit shyly, "You're not to shabby yourself." He smiled down at her. As the turned he noticed how alone Meyla looked. Should he really have left her like that to dance with Anna? He felt a bit bad but it was too late to do anything about it. He would just have to wait till the music changed. |
