I'm turning 17 this week, I love httyd since I first watched the movie (I was 12 at the time) but I became a real fan since I rewatched it just before httyd2 came out. |

Glad to see that most of the people that answered the poll are from 11 to 20! That actually surprised em in a good way. I guess it just proves that the movie, although intended for a younger audience, is awesome no matter who you are. Thanks for all the replies! |

I'm 20 and watched the first movie when I was 18. It's really cool to see that lots of the fans aren't Kids, but teens and adults. |

Okay. I am 17. My parents both agree that I am too old for the franchise (now I can tell them! Ha!) While it is mostly true in the fact that I am one of the oldest people I know who are into HTTYD, I can now definitely day that I am in the mid-range. Huzzah! Everyone I know who are fans of the films are younger than me, one by over ten years (although he will probably never grow up to be a fan like us), and I only have one obsessed friend who is older than me (by two years) and he is a fervent supporter of the books over the films and believes the films to be terrible - which I don't agree with at all, but I can understand his devotion. When I was a kid, my favourite book series was HTTYD, with Artemis Fowl and Dragon Detective Agency and Lord of the Rings (incl. the Hobbit) coming close up second to fourth. I watched the first movie when I was ~13. |
