Oh, so you're right. I checked a bit in the page and it says, "Like all Stormcutters..." you're right! |

What should I write on my signature? Hmm... I am a Httyd, Gravity Falls and Portal (One and two) fan. I'm also a bookworm and an introvert. That was pretty random, but that's me summed up in two sentences. | |

Skrills are amazing, but I'd be curious on how, if a person were to train one eventually, that you would ride it? The back spikes provide to be a bit of a challenge, I would imagine. |

As would the fact that they electrify themselves. I could be wrong, but I'm not sure that it's actually possible to ride a Skrill. |
| Come death. Come suffering. I will not live in fear. In this fleeting life where time escapes us, the path of least resistance is a slow quiet death. I'd rather burn out than fade away. | |

Me:*tries for like ten minutes to select all the choices* Me:*slowly realizes I can't* Me:*emotional meltdown* I ended up choosing Skrill BTW although Whispering Death, StormCutter Zippleback And Timberjack would work as well |

Ah yes, but Snotlout rides Hookfang and he sets himself on fire so that's not much different. You've just got to train it to not do that whilst riding. Regarding actually where a rider would sit, I'm not sure. Maybe they would need a slightly raised saddle? Or very spike proof armour? xD |

I haven't the slightest clue either what material Berk would have available to create a saddle for that. Rubber could work and you could wear a special suit. I just can't imagine finding a place to sit without getting gorged. I'm surprised that Astrid does so well with Stormfly. There would have to be a lot of self control for her not to toss her head back and hurt the poor rider. But ah, I think in today's world making an outfit should be fine but.. ;; no idea about time period specific technology |

That's a good point, it seems Astrid just sits far back enough that head spikes are not too much of a problem. Also it some images of Stormfly, she has spikes from neck to tail, and in others they are just on tail. Is this a continuity error or are they possibly retractable? In which case if retractable, there is a chance the Skrill's might be if trained. As for a suit, I'm sure Hiccup can help with that. He did make his flying squirrel suit after all, so he must know some useful stuff xD |
