That would easily be an animation error. It happens often in any animated movie really, sometimes it's done on purpose sometimes they don't realize it until after the movie's out.

So most of you are thinking about this from an out-of-universe perspective (and you're probably right, it was probably just a mistake by the layout team), but let's change the name of the game. From an in-universe perspective, what might it be? @Alpha Toothless suggested the Dragon Eye, but those were both destroyed, so it can't be that. Maybe he made a form-fitting holster for Inferno? ^)
