Toothless

I saw it a third time on Tuesday with my friends and this little boy in the front row goes "Aw yuck!" When Hiccup and Astrid kissed :) he was very dramatic about it we were at opposite ends of the theater and at the top row and heard him very well :)
Believe a Dragon Can Thaw A Frozen Heart Role Play Based of HTTYD and Frozen

Yesterday I took my sisters friend and her sister to my fourth viewing.

After the movie had ended Hannah the older sister who is 16 was just like "that....was....amazing!"

I asked "have I got you into the fandom?"

And she started to nod her head really fast

Mission accomplished ;)

This is SORT of the audience, I mean, it was my parents, haha.

I was actually really nervous about taking my parents to see it, especially my mother, who hates animation and fantasy. But to my surprise, they both thought it was great and better than the first -- including my mom, who kept saying "They were like real people!" (She has a tendency to think that any character in fantasy/sci fi/animation will not be written like an actual human being with actual human being emotions).

And then she made the mistake of asking me about it in the car and my answers were very... lengthy, whoops. My sister said "Oh god stop asking her things"

I'm sorry about my HTTYD feelings!
Wanna switch? You will get my parents and I'll get yours XD
Yes, I ship Dagur and Hiccup.

I apologize for cringy posts I made some years ago

That wasn't my sister, my sister is on berks grapevine XD. Sorry if that was unclear XD

But I don't think Hannah is ready to be a grapeviner yet. She hasn't seen the TV series or read the books. But she does seem to love both movies :D

mystery dragon, pic drawn by night fury fire. Thank you :)

I saw it again today. And I was watching the audience reactions.
They were laughing at the funny scenes, and crying at the sad scenes.
At the end of the movie, I met two older ladies that was in front of me and learned they were huge httyd fans. They even had a toothless stuffed animal with them. I tried to tell them about this site also.
They was also in tears from the bewilderbeast death through Stoick's funeral and when hiccup becomes chief.
Dragons, need I say more.

Hiccup, chief of berc, dragon master.
Toothless, alpha dragon.
You and me bud we can do this, as one.
It's just a zipple misunderstanding
I like a pit, but I love a boar pit.

The one and only time I've seen it:

Kid about 10 years old, crying voice: "Mom, it wasn't Toothless's fault"
Mom, sniffes: "No, sweetheart, it wasn't"

- That was so cute listening too - almost more touching than the actual scene :P

antisocial british nerd with a youtube channel

Third time I saw it I was by myself (mum had dropped me off at the cinema) and this guy about 60 sat behind me with his two grandchildren and they had a bag of popcorn (my local cinema is so small that they sell the bags of popcorn you buy at the shops).

The film hadn't started yet and they opened the bag in the noisiest way possible and I turned round and looked at them in a way that said "If you're as loud as that through the whole film I swear I'll ask Toothless to fry you as well."

They were a bit more quiet after that but the guy KEPT COMMENTATING ON EVERYTHING.

When Toothless gets pulled under the water by those sea dragons after falling in he was like "He's been eaten!". I turned round and looked at him like "Dude, don't tell them that, this film is emotional enough as it is."

Then when Valka removes her mask after seeing Hiccup's scar, he said "That's his mother."
I whipped my head round and glared at him like "STFU, YOU RUINED IT FOR THEM!"

And at the end when Gothi draws on Hiccup's forehead, he said "He's the new chief."
At this point I really wanted to yell "STFU AND STOP RUINING EVERYTHING FOR THEM. YOU WANT THEM TO ENJOY THIS FILM? STFU."

Spoiler Granddad Alert.
It pissed me off so much.
Me? An otaku? Pfff.

Yes I do like dragons if you're wondering. Doesn't seem like it from my profile pic n signature, I know, but I do.
