Rufflout, Rufflegs or even Ruffret?

NONE of the above. I hate the idea of her ending up with anyone. Why can't she be single like her brother and Snotlout and probably Fishlegs are going to be? Stupid that she has to have a love interest just because she's a girl.

I think im gonna like the dynamic of her not being into snoutlout or fishlegs and then being enraptured by eret because shes a seeker of thrill and danger and going after eret at this point seems a little dangerous because he starts off as an enemy figure im assuming. But i dont know i dont think doing the whole love interest thing undermines her shes a total badass and beats up her brother all the time, it fact i think its a positive message that you can be awesome and buff and still have the men kissing your toes.
I guess i connect because in high school i did crew and was super muscular and i had really broad shoulders and i felt badly about myself because i was super strong and lacked a girlish figure and guys werent into that

I don't really see a problem with her seeking a relationship if that's what happens. Most people do at some point, so I think it's reading too much into things to act like it ruins her character to do so, especially when she's a relatively minor character to start with.

As for the options, I think she'd be a horrible match for Fishlegs. She quite frankly isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, and prefers random violence to anything resembling an academic pursuit. Fishlegs on the other hand is obsessed with reading/learning and wouldn't care if he never had to fight. I just don't see anything in common between them.

I think she would be much better suited to Snotlout if they could stop turning their knack for causing trouble against each other. They're both more of the typical brawn over brains type of Vikings with a penchant for destruction. I don't know enough about Eret to do any analysis of a potential relationship with him.

I never said it was ruining her character, what I meant was its crap that theres several male characters who will end up alone but all girls must pursue a relationship eventually amirite?????

I'm perfectly okay with Ruffnut staying single (as long as Astrid is with Hiccup!)...but I'll wait until I see the second movie to base a true opinion since there sounds as if there will be plenty of single guys in HTTYD 2 who can vie for her love. ;)

so essentially the issue here is that there is a lack of female characters in the story not that ruff is getting a man
