Very nice! Thanks for the links! Looks like the interface based on the standard autodesk interface. No suprise, the whole studio works with Maya and Mudbox. |

Trying to enroll in a 2 year extended diploma. Sadly there are no colleges in my area that have a course on animation, so I'm doing one in gaming instead (The course involves animation and 3D sculpting so that's logical, right?). |

It's the typical light-on-dark color scheme that is very widespread in modern visual design software. It helps designers to concentrate on the visual content. They even seem to have their own Maya forks, as seen on the mockup screenshots here with the "DW" in the title. So they probably even have the source code available for customization. And the same page also has some mockup screenshots of a Media Manager. Edit: Light is the old lighting engine that is now superseded by Torch:

I meant things like the layo6t of the timeline or the little pivot in the corner. It looks a bit like the standard Autodesk layout. (I prefer the cube, but that's individual.) I don't know how about Maya, but normally all colors are castomizable by the user. You could make it green-red if you want. ![]() I prefer the layout in a very dark grey and the editor window in a very light grey. I will try to find a DW employee from the Lighting Department on Twitter or somewhere else and ask him about 'Light' and 'Torch'. Maybe they are as cooperative as Mr. Stodolny. ![]() |

They did use subsurface scattering in the first movie. Though it probably isn't too noticeable. http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/ ... 4-1438.jpg http://geekalabama.files.wordpress.com/ ... on_030.jpg |
