I'm so tired of love stories, I just can't see it anymore, it is everywhere. On of the specials on HTTYD was, that there is no love story. The main relationship based on friendship, not on love. I don't want a lovestory in my "No. 1 Movie". It would become so casual, boring and worldly. I also don't like relationships based on the human construct called "love" in real life, but that's another story. Like I said, I would rather live alone in a cave for the rest of my life than seing my world shatter by the relationship called Hiccstrid. |

I'd assume thered be one in the end of the 3rd one,, maybe the 2nd but I think more 3rd because it's more of a mini plot for the movies, if they marry in the 2nd then their's no character relationship build between them I don't think. |

THIS^^^^^^ It would make an amazing special. I could also see it like their wedding was supposed to be at the beginning of movie 3. Something major happens that ruins it so Astrid is sad but also filled with rage toward Drago (I'm assuming Drago will maybe be in 3) for ruining her wedding and she'll kick his but for it. |

I think that's why hiccstrid is clearly a thing... but they don't flaunt it. They don't want to over-romanticize the movies. So they keep it on the down-low and don't use the words 'boyfriend and girlfriend'. Everyone kind of just knows they are together. |

I am a fan of how this franchise features a healthy, stable relationship between two main characters that doesn't take center stage or is even really a huge plot point or source of drama. I hope they don't spend too much time on their relationship either, and that it stays in the background. I do think they're an adorable couple though and if they made a short that was all about them, I'd be here for it. |

Yeah, because the biggest scene between them is the "Obama clip" and maybe a wedding scene, which are tiny in the sparse of the movie. |
