Well the only reason I suspect he will die is because of the new piece 'Two New Alphas' which I think is about Hiccup becoming Chief (ergo, 'Alpha') of Berk and Toothless becoming the New Aplha for the Dragons.
That's what I think at least.
I agree, as soon as I saw "The Two New Alphas," that's exactly what came into my mind. I think that'll make a great ending.

Below is a possible major spoiler that I thought of while looking at the OST list.
Idea about one of the tracks I honestly believe the track 'Stoick's Ship' upports the idea of Stoick dying. As the ship in the title is, I think, referring to his funeral pyre. As we all know, Vikings often used a longship as the funeral pyre, so i rewlly think this is a possibility
Bare in mind this is just pure speculation. So can no one please talk about the major spoiler, even if my speculation was accurate!

I didn't even think of that! That's a good theory. Well, we'll have to wait and see what happens.
Of course, it could mean who's Stoick's favorite pairing is. XD

I did not see what the spoiler was, but I think I know what it might be. It could be the death of someone,(Either the good bewilderbeast or Stoick) or just a very sad scene(flashback maybe?).
