Do you have a thread or something to discuss everything or to get more informations about the meeting? You should also add the place to Dragonmeet with a link where you can get more informations, so that everyone can see it and is able to join the meeting. |

Feel free to move this post to wherever it belongs. It's ideas on a Utah Dragonmeet. I'm autistic and not a born leader so I'm probably not organized enough to initiate a Dragonmeet, but here's why there should be one: 1. Branden Miller, VP of In-Theater Marketing for Fox (translate: The guy who makes and distributes all those really cool life-sized posters of Hiccup, Toothless and the gang to put in theater lobbies) is from Utah. He got his start at the Scera Theater in Utah, and is a really class act. He came to a local college here to speak to students and he's awesome. And did I mention he is the one who distributes the posters? Maybe someone could contact one of his assistants to organize a Dragonmeet at either the Scera or at the West Valley City IMAX, which has DOLBY ATMOS sound (Squee!) on opening weekend. (With posters....) 2. New statistics show that because of the environmental pollution in this great state, 1 in 30 kids in Utah are being born autistic. "Autism Speaks" has put "How to Recognize an Autistic Person" billboards all over Highway 15 to enlighten you neurotypicals (for what? So the kids know who to bully? I don't get it). Anyway, as I have said before, autistic people tend to be Toothless fans because they identify with Toothless trying to speak Human. 3. Westercon, FantasyCon, and the Salt Lake Comic-Con (now 4th biggest con in the nation, according to some specious statistics) are in Utah. Meaning, there's already billboards with a big dragon on them up and down Highway 15 over here for FantasyCon. Maybe someone could contact one of the SMOFS over here (Secret Masters of Fandom) to organize a DragonMeet. 4. I have a deadline...make that two deadlines...right now. BRB. |

Oo, that sounded bad, didn't it? Sorry. Nope, ok here. Just put a Dragonmeet in Utah notice up on the map, so the mods can add it to the list. |

Oh great, I'm happy I was mistaken. I hope I'll see more often around though. You always had interesting ways of analyzing. Bye ! |
