Can I just say to all the non-british users on this site, we do not all have accents like Eret. No one in england has an accent like Eret. That accent became extinct eons ago... We don't speak like Valka either, no one is ever that posh. Kate blanchett is rolling in the dough, she's expected to have an high class accent. It's pretty much queens english, which i have never heard anyone speak in my life.
You can tell americans casted httyd...
Haha, very true! Why are villains always English? What are they trying to say? xD
Also, I feel like I've said this in several threads before, but I'm English (: From the South-East, not far from Canterbury.
Go watch the Jaguar super bowl advertisement. Lol
People tend to say that I'm quite posh. Guess we'll see if it's true at London.
thats the one with tom hiddleston?
we is from worcester ennit blad imma shank ya brov I swear on me mam

In the swirling of the storm,
When I'm rolling with the punches,
And hope is gone,
Leave a light,
A light on.

Ah, a fine example of received pronunciation we have here
Andy, I get told I sound posh too, albeit from friends in the Midlands and from up North, in which case it's not that hard to sound posh comparatively. Ehehe xD
We shall have a posh-off. The ultimate decider: Scon or Scone?

You've caused me to doubt myself on my own pronunciation! XD We'll have our posh off in person. But be warned, I was raised in a place with no single accent, so even southeners think I'm pksh! XD

I am West Midlands too, but I have a foreign accent, English not being my mother tongue.
And, yeah, I find it funny when Americans think that everybody speaks here like the wealthier characters in Downton Abbey. :-) But on the other hand, whenever I go to places like the Dungeons where the local 'workers' interact with turists, they somehow always manage to ridicule the American accents.
But anyways, as for me, I like all accents - and I think the Scottish is the cutest, it always makes me smile. When I was younger, I spent more time in North America than in England, so it was a bit strange at first when I moved to the UK, but not in a bad way.
I don't have a telly, I watched Defenders online.

I love accents too, Irish and Scottish in particular ^.^
It works both ways though I guess, as for example I went to see West Side Story live and the British actors put on the most awful over the top American accents I've ever heard xD

Do you think I should make a thread about A Midlands meetup? In england? Cause a lot of people can't make it to london. And i've already started planning one on tumblr and people are down with it. ? We were all gonna meet in worcester..

It's honestly up to you friend. DragonMeet might be up soon and all these threads will probably be closed or removed.

I was so surprised when I heard Eret's voice! I thought he would be voiced by someone from America, not someone from Britain, like me.

I love Stoick's voice! Gerard as his voice actor fits him so perfectly. And I think Cate is Scottish too.. She sounds like it sometimes.
