I also enjoy her little "Oh, would ye?" after Stoick sings to her that he'll write her poetry, haha.

Yes, it's a lovely moment of characterisation. In mirroring its predecessor's ending sequence, we're shown that (during the intervening years) our protagonist has outgrown his timid self on all fronts.

Ruffnut had numerous hilarious one-liners. I take back every negative thing I said about her arc in this movie. She was PERFECT.

I feel bad but I honestly can't remember Valka saying that "heart of a chief, soul of a dragon" line in the movie. I assume it was at Stoicks funeral? I can't remember D:

Yeah, it was during Stoick's funeral. Right before Hiccup made the decision to go after Drago and Toothless.

"Men who kill without reason cannot be reasoned with" -Stoick

Loved this quote because as much as I like Hiccup's character, he seems hopelessly naive sometimes and it was refreshing to finally see someone essentially telling him that the world doesn't always work the way he thinks it should.
Hiccup: Dragons are kind, amazing creatures that can bring people together
Drago: Or tear them apart...

I personally loved when Valka was talking about how Hiccup was born premature, and how weak and small he was, and how Stoick "believed you would be the strongest of all of them, and he was right."
