Mildew coming back smelly old man. Even though I don't want that he probably will come back >:(

Also I hope they've learned a lesson a lesson from httyd 2 and have given the dragons more personality especially toothless, barf and belch and stormfly

Edit:
Sorry I thought you ment the TV series. I agree that I don't want stoick to come back.
^_^ ;) :D :$ :P 8) :'( :( ^) :O  >:( <3 <- me seeing httyd 2

Unless HTTYD 3 just crushes the box office, I don't think we're going to have to worry about HTTYD 4...

No weddings. No kids. Not too much Hiccstrid. Don’t kill more characters just for sake of the plot to advance(I’m sure DreamWorks won’t do that again, right?) Not too sweet of an ending. Not too bitter of an ending. No too complicated side love-triangles. No poor advertisment. No reavlation of too much stuff too early. No reavling too little stuff. No poor choices about overseas dubbing actors casting. No lack of advertisement overseas. Don’t targret their audinece too young. No resurrections. No time-travel or some other crazy fantasy things beside dragons.

And finally, DO NOT HAVE A BILLION SEQUELS AND SPIN-OFFS TO THE FRANCHISE!

I don't think they should have a wedding but I think they should do a more 'Harry Potter - like' ending- as in skip to the far off future- when they are older- make it bitter sweet ... maybe a little like Marley and me - sad but happy-sad too :)

honestly if the ending is the perfect happily ever after It just won't fit the franchise...:/

Since the third movie will probably be just as rushed for time as the second one, I can't argue with not wanting much space to be taken up by an actual onscreen wedding ceremony, but I'm kind of surprised at the backlash against developing Hiccup and Astrid's relationship in general. Romance and marriage have been around much longer than Disney even if I agreed that having anything in common with Disney is inherently a bad thing (which I don't). I'm actually hoping a little more time is given to that aspect of Hiccup's journey in the third movie.

As for what I don't want, I don't necessarily have anything specific in mind. I just hope that the plot as a whole doesn't get dumbed down trying to gain more box office success. After the second movie underperformed domestically, I'm worried that the pressure to do that will be real.
Come death. Come suffering. I will not live in fear. In this fleeting life where time escapes us, the path of least resistance is a slow quiet death. I'd rather burn out than fade away.

There's a difference to making a trilogy and adding a fourth crappy movie, or making the whole Film series four movies, we get to see more animation, more character development, as a lot of people were complaining the movie pace was extremely fast, and a more detailed and possibly even better storyline!

I was extremely negative when I heard this 'fourth' film rumour going around too. But if you think about it enough, it might work, or be better even!
Benefit of the doubt though.

Yeah to be honest I would quite like a forth movie (please don't kill me). From what we've seen so far I don't think they could mess it up unless they got a new director or it went straight to DVD

Since season 3 is the gap between the two movies Stoick will most likely be in 3.

In season 4 and the 3rd movie i'd like to see How Hiccup deals with now being chief and having his mom around and Toothless veing the alpha ;)
