I teared up when gothi puts that mark on hiccup's forehead, thinking how drastically hiccup's life changed within a very short period of time. That scene, along with the music and the animation, was stunning. |

While not a 'tear jerker' in the traditional sense I though the first flight scene in the clouds (just before the crashland on Itchy Armpit) was pretty emotional. For me atleast. |

I cried when they used the Where's Hiccup cue from the first film when Hiccup and Valka were talking after the montage of their adventures. But for the most part I teared up at most parts of the film |

It was great. It started out a little cheesy, then they successfully de-cheesified it with some classic Gobber humour. |

Any scene that makes me feel the obviously intended emotion is a scene that makes me feel emotional in a good way. In that regard, you can put me down for every obvious emotional scene, except the bits where Valka plays a good role. I'm pretty sure that anger is not what DeBlois wanted audience members to feel in those scenes. Otherwise, emotional stuff is good. |

Number of times I've watched the trailer: 18. My pet peeve: people who refer to complete strangers by their first name. The correct ways to refer to a "John Smith" whom you have never met are Smith, Mr Smith, or John Smith. Not "John". He's not your buddy. | |
