I'm also dreading the Valka storyline quite a bit. Realistically, I would expect Hiccup and Stoick to have a hard time accepting her back into their lives, not just her having a hard time being around people again. I mean, are they even going to point out the fact that she abandoned her family? Or is it all gonna be lovey family feels that shouldn't even exist so quickly after so many years apart? :-/ I want Stoick or Hiccup or SOMEONE to call her out on her less-than-noble choices.
I do think the crew have thought this through. They have had quite a long time to set up the story and Valkas charater. They are not showing us everything, and there is probably much more too the Valka character than we have seen yet. :) I do not think we will be dissapointed ;)
I really hope you're right! I'm starting to wish I was completely spoiler free on this one like I was with the first...all this suspense is worrying me!

Haha yeah, I get you, but we really shouldn`t worry too much. This is my favourite franchise ever and I have been worried since they announced the sequel, but I do have faith in the producers of this film. You just have to remember that these are the people that created the first film, and they probably will turn the sequel into a masterpiece like the first one :D

Won't argue there. They did fabulous on the first. :) I've seen it happen with other things though, where the creators get so caught up in forming a new grand storyline that they rush it and forget to touch on the smaller things that are really no less important. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen here. With how well they handled the first one, I shouldn't be worried, but then the second one has more storylines so...I'll just have to see how they did in June.

I don't know if anyone has noticed this and/or pointed it out, but if you get the free DreamWorks Augmented Reality app (http://www.dreamworksanimation.com/ar/us/) and then scan page 93 (the one with the frames from the Comic-Con scene) it shows you the full clip. It's awesome. :D

Seriously?! Damn...I never got the actual book. Too bad such a thing wouldn't work by scanning a pic of that page from on a laptop screen. I would love to see that clip (if it's the one I think it is) but I'll probably never get a hard copy of the book...or the app if it's not free.
