Thanks! Definitely some creative editing in this clip, but I like where they seem to be taking it. I kind of get the sense they're deliberately leaving out most of the dark stuff in all these previews.

I'm getting really annoyed with how much is being spoiled and has been spoiled for me against my will (thank you various book releases..............) but I figured since this one was shown a lot in the trailers and probably isn't a pivotal scene, I went ahead and watched it. I really liked it. The bewilderbeast is super cool, and I can't wait to see more of him.

Somebody on the main post page mentioned that it seemed like something weird was going on with toothless and how the other dragons reacted to him and they theorized that maybe he's the real dragon king, which I think is an interesting thought.
I don't think he's the "real" dragon king but I do believe he can become one. Actually I've been thinking about this possibility and it's quite logical, Toothless and Hiccup have 2 possibilities:

Yeah, "dark stuff". As in the darker elements of the movie that the filmmakers keep hinting will be in this one. I'm thinking like Hiccup's anger at his mother might be left out of the previews (assuming they wrote it that way at all) and whatever happens at the end besides the final battle. Call it intuition.

I believe that's more commonly known as optimism.
Number of times I've watched the trailer: 18.

My pet peeve: people who refer to complete strangers by their first name. The correct ways to refer to a "John Smith" whom you have never met are Smith, Mr Smith, or John Smith. Not "John". He's not your buddy.
