I ran that italian one through google translate but it did a really bad job naturally. It sounds half positive/half negative I think? I can't really tell why they're trying to say in most of it though admittedly lol. Also I hope more specific, longer reviews come out soon. |

The Telegraph review is really awful. The reviewer is clearly a Disney fan and fails to provide any good reasons as to why his beloved princess flicks are apparently so much better than anything DW can come up with. ![]() |

honestly.... people who find frozen "wonderful" and think its raised the standard bar in any way... I can't take their opinions seriously. No offense to anyone here who likes that movie but honestly. |

Actually, Frozen did raise the bar in a variety of ways (I could go into detail, but that might be a bit too off topic right now) but the thing is: FOR DISNEY. Disney has always been very archaic, especially its princess movies. It has outdated ideas of gender in particular. Frozen remedied a lot of that and was a lot more modern and progressive than a lot of older Disney films. But again, it raised the bar....for a Disney movie. Dreamworks and others were already way ahead in my personal opinion. |

Meh... I gotta respectfully disagree. I know a lot of people seem to think Frozen is the most feminist thing Disney has ever done but every example I've ever heard can already be seen in another Disney movie thats been conveniently forgotten about. I guess it raised the bar as far as animated Disney Princess movies but that's a few too many qualifiers more than what I originally meant, which was just animation overall. |
