Oh, yes! I knew I was missing something. I absolutely hate Hijack. Or any ROBTFD parings for that matter. Sorry guys! Wait! There's a book Hiccup and movie Hiccup paring?  I must not know a lot of websites...

Yup… and I don't like the ROTBTD pairing either.... In fact any ship that isn't canon usually bugs me... And I have no idea why O_o ... Meh. Guess I'm a canon kinda person

Honestly, canon ones are the only ones that I care the slightest bit about. Of those, I have no problem with Hiccup/Astrid, and major problems with HTTYD2 era Stoick/Valka (that I'm sure I've gone into enough for most people, though I can elaborate if anyone wishes), at least as it's been presented in the promotional material. It's possible that it will be better in the actual movie, but I doubt it. Oh, and I have no problem with pre-kidnapping Stoick/Valka, though I don't particularly care for it. Regarding human/dragon pairings, I have no particular problem with any human (well, any non-villain human) paired with Toothless. He's intelligent enough to give informed consent, in the sense that if you try to do anything in that vein that he doesn't want, you will soon lack the body parts with which to do it. Not my thing, but hey, as long as everyone's consenting, I'm not going to judge. Regarding any other dragon, they don't display enough intelligence to give informed consent, so that's right into disturbing territory. Though now that I think about it, Cloudjumper would have enough intelligence to give informed consent, and I could totally believe something happening between him and Valka in the space of twenty years. Now that's how you would show Valka being feral, but obviously that wasn't an option, for many, many reasons. |

Number of times I've watched the trailer: 18. My pet peeve: people who refer to complete strangers by their first name. The correct ways to refer to a "John Smith" whom you have never met are Smith, Mr Smith, or John Smith. Not "John". He's not your buddy. | |
