Vaguely; each contain themes from the new score with a bit of new material. It has very much the same feel which I'm glad about but the instrumentals especially sound somewhat more epic. As you can tell I'm not very good at describing music, but basically it was what I had been expecting and wanting out of the second soundtrack and I can't wait to hear the rest. |

More much adventure. Definitely it sounds faster, there are more emotions and energy than in 1st OST. Orchestra was bigger and now you can just hear that in music, especially in the old themes from "Romantic Flight", "Test Drive" and "The Viking Have Their Tea", which sounds more powerful. Of course there are new themes and melodies. I was afraid, that John have no more ideas for new soundtrack... And now i can risk opinion, just after hearing these songs, that they're even better than the old themes Definitely John was more much better prepared for 2nd score. HTTYD1 was perfect. And now HTTYD2 is going to be better. I did not expect this. |

I`ve just found out that Alexander Rybak will have a song called "Into a Fantasy" featured in the end credits in HTTYD2. From what I understand the song will only be heard in Scandinavia, Russia, and some other European countries, but I might be wrong. For those of you who don`t know; Alexander Rybak is a norwegian singer/actor. He has won the Eurovision Song Contest, and i voices Hiccup in norwegian. For a Norwegian this is really exciting news!!

My favorite out of what I've heard is "Toothless Found." I got so emotional listening to it, and I couldn't even tell you why, but it was a good feeling
