I'm glad you guys still get to met on the 4th. When I heard about it moving to the 11th I actually thought about you guys and I felt bad that you guys go through all this planning just to have the distribution date changed.

So they definitely moved the official date back? That sucks. I wonder why, it seems a bit pointless as there are all the advance dates up anyway.
Maybe they moved it due to something with Fox? Who knows? That or they want to prolong the opening in every country so HTTYD2 is in movies for quite awhile.

I really hope that they haven't moved the date for the advanced screening at Odeon Cinemas; I'm going to see the film tomorrow. :D

Annoying that I will have to wait a week for my second viewing though, I was planning to just watch it daily after the 4th until I am nothing more than a ball of tears. Shame.

So I just got this reminder (finally) from Odeon about HTTYD2, but it says general release is 11th July now? Has it moved for the UK? Does this mean ours is now an advance screening theoretically? :P
I hope they will still show it on 4th July! o.O

Yeah, it's still on! If you go on the Odeon website, go to the BFI IMAX page, then go 'Advance Dates', the listing is still on there :).

We've got tickets anyway, so they would have to email to let us know if it was no longer on.
The IMAX Theater in Omaha didn't email me that they canceled it... So I would glad if someone can call them and ask, just to be sure...

Well the booking for that showing is still on the site, as Hic said, so I'm like 99% sure it's fine. I'll call sometime this week to check though, if you want.
