Too many words. ;-; So much....

I honestly don't give a crap whether he's homosexual or not, I'm just tired of all the arguments and stuff because of it. :/
"She's my princess and whatever she wants, she gets."
"Ruffnut? Didn't she bury you alive?"
"Ah. Only for a few hours."

Absolutely not. Representation is so very important, and erasing it is a horrible thing to do. Just accept it and move on.
This.

Okay, I have nothing against gays, but I don't think that he (Dean) needed to add Craig's little ad-lib into the movie. What if a parent hasn't told their child(ren) about homosexuals yet, and Gobber saying that line makes kids ask their parents what it means? What are they supposed to say!?

I think it was a bad decision. Makes me not want to see the movie.

Can everyone just forget this thing happened? It's not that big a plot anyways.
Not that big of a plot, yes, but it might have kids questioning their parents.

That's a very good point! I agree very much!
What should I write on my signature? Hmm...
I am a Httyd, Gravity Falls and Portal (One and two) fan.
I'm also a bookworm and an introvert.
That was pretty random, but that's me summed up in two sentences.

As I've said multiple times before, no they won't! Children will never understand such a reference, especially seeing as he never explicitly said 'Oh and because I'm gay' or anything stupid like that!

Trust me, it's not a problem for kids! Spongebob has said much much worse in the past, but no one even bats an eyelid. Yet the moment it's about sexuality, everyone suddenly has to make a big deal out of it!

And if you ask me, Parents should explain homosexuality to kids, they do it about heterosexuality so why not?! It's a natural thing, and kids should learn that.

Right? On the very, very, very unlikely chance that your kid even notices, much less bothers to ask about it, whats the big deal with explaining to them that some people love others of the same gender and thats all there is to it? Will that melt their poor innocent brains? Grow up, be an adult, and maybe try talking to your kids about things rather than making it some big taboo secret.

I disagree. Parents should be able to explain to their kids about certain things when THEY want to. They aret he PARENTS after all. And if you think kids wont ask about it, then heres proof.
Earlier today, my mom read out loud Gobber's lines to me and my dad, but my little brother was in the room. She didnt say anything, just simply read out the lines, so my dad and I would know what she was talking about but my brother wouldnt. My brother then asked my mom, "Why did he say or for another reason?" My mom is my parent, and my brothers' parents, so she should be able to explain what she want to us, WHEN she wants to, not Hollywood.
