It would be nice for DW if it did... |

And hopefully with better rehearsals, too; last time (2011) felt like a reading session (which it probably was, given the nature of the concert) in terms of balance, articulations, etc. |

Were you there in 2011? Because I know only the video, but I would definitely go to Vienna if they play the score from the 2nd movie. |

I've only seen the video, but I can judge performance quality reasonably well even from a poor recording (heck, I listen to old LP restorations all the time!). |

I like it that they reused some of the themes. I think it's nostalgic. ![]() |

Oh, you're from the analog scene, I know how to deal with this kind of people. But the most musicians are. In the german HiFi-scene they are called "gold ears". I hope you don't have $500 cables. ![]() I didn't like the fact that the music wasn't synced to the scenes shoen in the background. |

So just a question does the music that I buy sound better than music you download? 'Cause I downloaded (yeah I know) the soundtrack and I want to know if it would be better sounding by iTunes buying... |

That'd depend on where you "downloaded" said music. If you ripped it off YouTube or SoundCloud, then the iTunes release would be encoded at a higher bit rate, which technically means better fidelity. Whether you can perceive the difference depends on how well you can hear, how you listen to music, and what you're listening with. Suffice it to say that for those of us who listen to music with iPod headphones on the train, we've got bigger sources of distortion with which to contend. |

I'm one of the insane people who has the disc preordered and will be ripping it in flac, so I would say it sounds better. I'm really hoping they did a final balancing pass after the review copies because right now the last 3 songs are a good bit louder than the rest. |

Yeah I got it from YouTube... And also that Digital Booklet seems interesting.... But I don't really want to spend money on it when I already have it... Ugh the struggles of not wanting to spend money on stuff. |
