Hiccup:
" This... is Berk.
It's really cold... all the time, what with most of the town being covered in Bewilderbeast ice... but the homes are warm. And now that we have dragons, well... it gets warmer. And we have family.
Now I know what you must be thinking: oh, Hiccup is going soft now that he's chief.
Well you're wrong... I'm sure my girlfriend can testify to that.
But I have my family back together again. And that's all that matters.
Sometimes it's hard to remember how much you missed something, until you find it again.
My name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third. I have the heart of a chief... and the soul of a dragon."

Oh my goodness. This is amazing! (I heard it in his voice too as I read it too )

It got me thinking, about my earlier post, now I feel like I should slightly change it. Maybe ....
So instead of Stoick Dying.......


Hiccup is down on the ground ion his knees. Valka, Stoick, and Toothless are beside him. Behind them Astrid, the Twins, Snotlout and Fishlegs are not far. Eret his tribe and the rest of Berk stand behind the gang. Hiccup is devastated and doesn't know what to do. Berk is almost complexly destroyed. Covered in the Bewilderbeast's ice.

Everyone is in shock of their home.

Fishlegs asks "Um, What do we do now Hiccup?"

Hiccup devastation in his voice says "I-I don't know." Stands up with the others and looks to Stoick.

"You know what you have to do Hiccup." He says not taking his eyes off their home.

"I know..." Admits Hiccup, "But what if I'm not ready?"

"Hiccup," Valka says coming and putting a mother's touch hand on his shoulder, "You have the heart of a chief, and the soul of a dragon. Your father and I are all proud of you and what you've done to protect our people Hiccup. And you will make a great chief. "

"I do too," Astrid adds, Hiccup turns around looking only at his friends, "We all do."

"Yeah look at everyone," Tuffnut says, "They're all staring like something bad happened"

"Uh that's because out home is covered in ice" Ruffnut points out.

"Oh yeah I forgot" Tuffnut replies as Ruffnut slaps her head in embarrassment.

"Look Hiccup." Snotlout steps up, "We're you're family. We may not always get along but like it or not you're stuck with us. And we're not going to turn our backs on you. After everything today... We need someone like you as Chief."

Hiccup now notices everyone behind his friends, they are all watching him, looking up to him in a way. He stands and looks at the rest of the Vikings. His friends. His family. His home. Even Eret. Everyone looks to him.

He is standing in this totally awesome Epic dramatic pose. Like this:

Toothless stands at his side, a strong powerful amazing creature.

Hiccup looks at his parents, his friends, Berk. He knows Snotlout is right.

"We clean up Berk, and go home. " He says, "And we train. We will fight Drago and his army. And this time We will Win."

so lion king doesn't fit now but this still does New Beginning by Automachine

And then add in Berknation's "This is Berk " comment above with an amazing HTTYD score in the background while it plays over a scene showing everything Hiccup is talking about and
Bam!

I think it would make an awesome movie ending

I would be upset if there is more Hiccstrid than Hicctooth. The story is about a boy and his dragon and not a boy and a random chick.

That's true and I can respect that. But I still want some Hiccstrid! I'm just bored of how the show seems to neglect their relation ship so much!

Yeah, I really hated that basically there were no Hiccstrid moments in Defenders.... Okay, I didn't hate it because we still had awesome dragons, etc., but come on, there was something going on between the two of them in the movie and in Riders, so it felt kinda stupid that they completely ignored it in the second series. The climax of this whole unnecessary in denial poop was when Astrid said she would never kiss anyone or something like that and I was like "yeah, right", and I expected Hiccup to I don't know... laugh at her a little or make a sarcastic comment.

That particular moment you reference especially seemed to be poorly thought out. At the end of the movie, she already kissed Hiccup.... rather passionately....... in front of the whole village. Why would the show's creators even bother giving her a line like that? For that matter, I found it odd that at times throughout both seasons that the insinuation was that their feelings for each other were somehow a bit hidden. Like I already said, there was really nothing hidden about it by the end of the movie, so to have their relationship seemingly regress without explanation was a bit frustrating from a character development standpoint. I get that it was supposed to be an action show and not a romance, but at times it felt like they intentionally avoided the romance even at times that it naturally should have come into play a bit.
