I hope so, I have been anticipating Httyd 2 for ages! Frozen is too overrated -_-
And overhyped.

From a technical POV Frozen has, exept for the snow engine, really bad animations, the recording quality of the voices was insufficient and the Sound Mixing of 'Let it Go' failed massively.

Not just "Let It Go," though; a lot of the non-song portion of the film score is just performed poorly, as I've written before.

Though I don't think the second film's score tops the first film's in terms of musicality (this coming from someone who has an eclectic musical taste), it is still leaps and bounds above Frozen's.

Finally someone else who understands (or at least shares the same oopinion) in that the second soundtrack just doesn't beat the first.

Frozen's whole score in general was bad...

I hope HTTYD2 beats Frozen, even though I have a soft spot for Disney movies- It seems a whole lot bigger then any of the other animated movies that are out/coming out this year... Sure I've heard about Big Hero 6- but it seems SOO Over-rated allready so why waste my money... Dreamworks can have my money for this sequel! (and the poster I got, and my RoB, DoB DVDs..)

DreamWorks has all my money and I now know that I'm going at least three times in the same week so I'm good with helping DreamWorks get what they deserve.

It`s quite amazing that both these film get`s so much attention. Must be the wonderfull nature we have up here in Norway since both films have taken inspiration from our country ;)

(I`m done with the bragging) I think httyd2 will be a better film than Frozen for many reasons. The problem here is that Frozen became some sort of "thing" that everyone suddenly new about ( I don`t know how else to put it), It got it`s status mostly because of good timing and other factors.
Well that`s my opinion anyway :)

The problem with the song is, that the voice was not only on the centre channel, it was on every channel with a little delay to the centre. On a normal 5.1 system, you don't hear it difference because of the room reflection, but when you listen to the stereo downmix or in a recording studio, you hear the delay and that's sh*t. It wouldn't be that bad when they made an extra mix for stereo, but it is just a normal downmix from the surround track.
