*eats popcorn* Keep arguing, all of you! I'll just sit back and enjoy watching it all unfold.  No, in all honesty, since I haven't heard of half of these pairings, the only one that genuine irritates me to no end is this whole crossover thing: "ROTBTFD" or whatever the hell it is now. Anything having to do with this I hate. Anytime I see the words "The Big Four" on my computer screen I feel some little part of me die deep inside. I still have no idea how it became so popular. |

Um what? I'm Irish too you know. XD I ship nearly everything, including crack (OMG SORRY ABOUT THAT TYPO CRAP SHIPS HAHAHA) ships like Dagcup for the laugh of it, you must admit the episode was hilarious but if it ended up being canon I'd just...No. Toothcup, no, I'd never ship it, just disturbs me, hopefully people who DO 'ship' it are only doing it for the laugh or to troll people. XD Valcup, no, nope, nope, seriously nope. Including Valstrid, Toothka or ToothlessXValka or whatever, just plainly nope. Ruffcup, Fishcup,Snotcup and etc I don't ship either. I only really ship Hicstrid, and maybe Hijack every now and then, but no other ROTBTD characters. And my lord guys.... Have you ever seen a fanfiction of Stoick X Hiccup. It gave me nightmares for a week, I'm NOT joking! It's somewhere out there on fanfiction.net, deep in the F**ked up area. *EDIT* I found it but I'll probably not upload the link since it's probably not allowed and it includes rape and. Ughg. I must say I've never laughed so hard at a thread in my life, but seriously....Stoickcup......It exists.....It freaking, exists. And I once saw fanart of Stoickstrid.....Like, Astrid and Stoick like, doing.....ewfsagsdagdsagasd NOPE |

You know, depending on how exactly HTTYD 2 goes, I can see myself seriously shipping Valka/Cloudjumper. It would make her much more interesting, and actually feral in some way. |

Number of times I've watched the trailer: 18. My pet peeve: people who refer to complete strangers by their first name. The correct ways to refer to a "John Smith" whom you have never met are Smith, Mr Smith, or John Smith. Not "John". He's not your buddy. | |

Hated pairings: Anything with Hiccup in it that isn't Hiccstrid. Anything with Astrid in it that isn't Hiccstrid. Honestly, why people ship stuff like, DragoxHiccup, is just making me lose faith in humanity... |

More interesting? Not really, it would just be a giant cliché and a miserable attembt of the director to make the movie more attractive by using unusual 'forbidden' story progressions. I am interested in if the people who ship a Dragon x Viking relation also emphasize the POV of the Dragon. I don't think they have the same understandment of love like humans. In terms of the fact that they live in packs with mixed breeds (exept a few species) and we have never seen a real love-based relationship between Dragon, I would say there is nothing comparative like love in their world. I would even say so far that we don't know if their are different genders after all. Yes, we've heared the "Your boy Dragon is a girl Dragon.", but that means nothing. Autogamy is a possible (and much more effective) alternative and would also explain the amount of physical characteristics from the diffeeent breeds --> a higher natural mutation rate in the gene code. |

Eh, pick any fandom and they'll be a large group shipping the protagonist with whomever is the most important villain. The phenomenon of Foe Yay (to use the TV Tropes term) is strong. Personally, I blame Batman for making it too easy. With that said, I am rather fond of one-sided Dagur/Hiccup. His obsessive hate for Hiccup has all the trademarks of your stereotypical scorned stalker or ex. It's all relative, and it's not difficult to be more interesting than Valka as she currently appears to be in the film (and this is also based on the comments I've read from people who've actually seen the film, not just the promotional material). |
