Monstrous Nightmare

Hello! I just went around to see if this topic existed, but since it didn't I figured that I'd create it! :)
What do you all think about the new soundtracks, I love every part, especially the last piece, it is epic and very powerful in the beginning!
For those who want a download link to one containing only the HTTYD2 soundtracks, without commentary etc, here's a link:
http://www.speedyshare.com/Ahsv7/How-To ... dtrack.m4a
it's 23 minutes and 17 seconds when you remove commentary and "not httyd" soundtracks.

I love the new OST. Think it's as good as, if not better than the last and I can't wait for it to be released!

So far my favourite track actually has to be Stoick's Ship. It's such a tear jerking piece it's amazing. and I have some very strong suspicions on what it's about (That said, if anyone tries to confirm or deny this, I will kill you...)

The Soundtrack is awesome, really. Listened to it today while working and I had to stop several times because I had to concentrate on the music.
But...eh... I've never checked the song titles or the spoilers but now I have a very strong suspicion too...

The real Hiccup

I found the soundtrack reminiscent of John Williams' scores for the Star Wars saga. Very powerful, and lots of chorus. I also loved the uses of the highland pipes.

Not to sure about the soundtrack... To me it's just a remix of the orignial and I don't really want to buy it now... :-/

I honestly don't see why you think it sounds like aremix. I jean, yes there are recurring themes (like almost all films have), but I wouldn't call it 'just a remix'.

For example, Powell is using the pipes how they're supposed to be used now, I.e. aggressive and designed to strike fear into you, unlike in the first film, where they were much more cheery.

I love everything I've heard so far. But I got an email from amazon today saying it won't be released until the 17th now...I guess that's okay because I wasn't planning on listening to all of it until after I saw the movie anyway
