In a recent keynote from Dean DeBlois, he describes Steven Spielberg's reaction to the HTTYD 3 script: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zvv76_x5og (He starts talking about HTTYD 3 at 34:56) “I cannot believe what I just read. And I had a lot of trouble reading the last part through my tears. It's a complete unqualified classic and better than the original.
