So, the score is currently being mixed at 5 Cat Studios. I'll try to update the thread with stuff related to the music as I get them. But for now: Thoughts? Feelings? Expectations? Anything in particular you're looking forward to/not looking forward to? |

John Powell is a genius, and I'm very sure whatever he comes up with will be amazing. I really hope they don't have a lyrical song in the film, like they did with Where No One Goes in HTTYD2. It's fine for credit music and trailer music, but I really wasn't a fan of plonking it in the middle of the film. |

Probably more reflective of the different cues at different parts of the movie. I suspect the soundtrack release won't be as extensive in track count. Probably not even in total length. |

From what I've heard of the music I've heard on Instagram, I'm sure JP will pull off some amazing music as usual. I just hope it follows the example of the first movie rather than the second. It's hard to imagine what song he'll choose to end the series with.
