There sort of OK. But the first few are horrible...even me when I was young didn't like them all that much. Oh but the lastest two were the best (10/11)
Well, it depends on your opinion. I don't want you, Asvald, to back out of them. I think they're amazing, but as Hope_And_Heir put together well;

They're nothing like the movie, but they're amazing! However, I wouldn't judge the whole series on the first few books. The newer ones are better.
What should I write on my signature? Hmm...
I am a Httyd, Gravity Falls and Portal (One and two) fan.
I'm also a bookworm and an introvert.
That was pretty random, but that's me summed up in two sentences.

They aren't horrible :/ they just aren't in your taste.
