And some not so spoileryish things, I have to say

1. Toothless seems a bit more animated, which is great! :D
2. One of those dragon skulls looked like a bone knapper (yes, I paid that much attention)
3. Ooooo, it's the dragons eye
one more thing...
As for your top spoiler,

I was thinking the same thing. Is alvin dead?? :O

I just noticed something in the clip.
After toothless blows the door apart, look at his back. There appears to be a blue glow for a moment. Almost like the alpha blue glow.
