If the Bewilderbeast can exert some sort of control over other dragons, I could easily see that factoring into the test of Hiccup and Toothless' friendship that's been hinted at. Come to think of it, that might work pretty well to put the element of choice largely in Toothless' hands (or paws as the case may be) after it was Hiccup who chose to remain a loyal friend in the first movie. |
