Thanks for the warning, CityCreek. I'm probably going to watermark a few of mine.

I hate it when people do this, it's just a big sign pointing to them saying "Hey, look, I'm immature enough to steal art and claim it as my own!"

and your art is not shitty damn it your alpha toothless is AMAZING

EDIT:
OMG right after I read this I went on DA and someone with a username similar to the one mentioned in that warning favorited one of my Toothless drawings…
if that idiot steals my stuff I will pound him/her
Find me on tumblr!
I can't bring myself to delete the gifs sorry

otherwise you have the option to watermark in Photoshop (atleast in CS6, don't know about the others, I used to have CS5, but I didn't really look if there was any there.)
Add text and make it 50% transparent. :D

That also works for all other painting programs.

A good way to notice him, if he's joined only today, favorites you art, and uploads it. I'll see if I can find his new account.

I think the most amazing thing to me is that he has a myspace period. I thought that died 6 years ago.

Anyhow a "Watermark' is just a transparent logo claiming your art as your own making it difficult to steal. You would place it across the center that way it cant just be blended out, but if you have a dedicated thief they can still do that when its across the center.
