(Now I know what an animus is! Good Thor, I thought I'd never get the book) Ignoring this, Sparkflight turns to the prints. "They looks a bit like SeaWing prints, but also with a little bit of SkyWing in them..." She turns and sticks a talon into the fire. "It's a thin layer of fire. If we hurry, we can walk straight through it," she mused. To illustrate her point, she dove through the fire and emerged relatively unharmed on the other side. Immediately, the fire closed a dome around the cave, burning stronger. Tendrils of it shot through the ground. Sparkflight sighed. "I don't suppose any of you are fireproof?" The tendrils of fire surrounded each and every one of the dragons, encasing them each in a dome of fire. "Definitely an animus." concluded Sparkflight. |
