(just so you know I wasn't planning on Drago or Eret being in this yet if that's where you're heading) Hiccup shook his head, "Not since lunch. We were off in the forest dealing with... other situations." His mind went back to the wild Night Fury. "Yeah exactly like that." Hiccup nodded, "Keep it up and you'll defiantly beat me in the competition." (sorry for so short replies, I'm watching Dragons with my mom-catching her up for the movie  ) |

Meyla rubbed her arm and smiled shyly. "Do... do you and Astrid... are you... together?" She finally asked rather quietly. She wasn't sure she'd want to hear the answer. |

[I'm just gonna continue from where I left off and try to catch up as best I could.  ]Vlad butted in "If you guys are going to the Isle of Night I am so coming too. Maybe there's something there that can help to explain why Night Furies are terrified of lightning." (Skip flying back) As Volt and Toothless landed, Hiccup and Meyla went over to the edge of the woods to practice their axe-throwing. He looked at them for a moment and saw Hiccup place his hands on Meyla to help her with her axe. He smiled. Just then he saw Snoutlout run up to the duo asked them something and then run in his direction. He stopped in front of Vlad panting. "Svalva is missing. Have you seen her recently?" he asked. "No," Vlad responded "I was busy in the forest with Hiccup and Meyla. We were just uhmmm.... tending to a few things." He ran off the question some other people. Vlad hoped Svalva was okay. He saw Hunter fly into the arena on Stormy and take back his seat. He looked worried. Vlad liked Hunter and Stormy. After all, Stormy was the only other tamed Skrill on the island and Hunter was nice enough. He hoped they sorted out whatever was troubling them. He walked over to the arena and grabbed up an axe. It wasn't exactly light but it was good enough. He had been training and was significantly stronger than he had been a few months ago. He threw it a few times and only missed his target once. He smiled proudly and Volt licked his face in congratulations at his improved aim. He always had good aim and was one of the best archers on Berk. He was also good at dagger throwing but no where near as good as Meyla. Axes used to be a bother to him due to how heavy they were but he had practised and practised and was now pretty good at it. His stomach grumbled loudly and he rubbed it. He really should've had lunch but it was to late now. He would just have to wait till after the axe throwing event. He wondered if Hiccup and Meyla were as hungry as him. |

"They're around here somewhere, they're probably still practicing." Meyla held her axe and walked into the arena. It was quiet, but people began gathering around the sides. |
