Well, I did get up late, but waking up to see this was the best thing that could possibly happen. It was so great! I immediately shared it on my Facebook and on the other forum (an anime forum, mind you) right after seeing it. I dunno about you guys, but this trailer completely sold me. I mean, I was already going to see the movie, but this one really dragged me in. I think it was the scenes showing Hiccup together with his entire family and hints of his relationship with Astrid that really got me. There were other scenes too that I liked, but it would take forever for me to give my true thoughts on this. XD

Lone Dragon Posts: 555 Group: Registered users Member: 29 Joined: 04/09/2014	If there's one thing the trailer helped answer for me it's that Valka did leave of her own free will and she wasn't abducted. The tear the line "I know what you're going to say" yep I'm certain of that much now. Which I'm actually glad for since it gives good reasoning behind her choice more than what we had before. Now we can more safely assume that there was actual tension between her and Stoick. In other words I really liked this trailer!

I thought that there would be some internal conflict for Hiccup choosing between Valka's seemingly free life with the dragons and Stoick's life of duty and responsibility. Now it suddenly looks like they come back together as a happy family and fight Drago together. I wasn't expecting that. This is something that could still happen. From what I can tell were getting quite a few edits from different parts in the movie. So that internal conflict could be there still. Although if that's the case it might be cut, ended and wrapped up sooner then what it possibly should be. Which I don't know. If it works out the way DW does it, and doesn't stick out to much in a bad way then I'll be okay with it, but again it's another wait and see.

Dragon Egg Posts: 22 Group: Registered users Member: 18 Joined: 04/09/2014	It's nice to see that Toothless hasn't lost his happy-go-lucky charm while also being intimidating when he needs to be. That was my main concern with the second movie (especially with some of the RoB/DoB episodes completely getting his character wrong) but with each new trailer/clip, I just love him more and more. ALSO...did anyone catch Cloudjumper's owl-ish movements when Hiccup and Toothless see him and Valka hanging from the cave wall/ceiling? I loved that little bit!
