Are you super extra sure that they don't have a problem when I carry a bagpack in the cinema? Because there a things like a camera or a tablet inside which could be used to film the movie. And if they have a problem, are there lockers or something to put it in? |

Wait... They check your bags?! WHAT?! THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MOVIES?! I could bring a truckload of food plus 7 big cameras and no one would care. |

I've never been to the BFI before, but most cinemas in the UK don't check bags anymore. There is still a small chance they will check if you have a very large bag for security, but they wont 'confiscate' cameras/tablets. If they did that then theoretically they would have to take everyones phone as well, as they are classed as a recording device. In the extremely slim chance that they do decide that you can't take camera/tablets in, they will have to hold them somewhere safe for you so you can collect after the movie. Don't worry (: Also
