He laughed and flicked his tail while walking over to her. "Here, you need to throw it out further. It helps if you hold it like this," he adjusted her grip and helped her throw it properly. Meanwhile he took off over the lake to do some fishing of his own. Every-time he saw a fish he would flick his black tail, and in an instant it would be pinned by a grey dagger. He never missed. He would then dive under, retrieve the fish and place it in the pouch at his side. He had kept the pouch with the fishing rod, He'd had it since he was a child. The cycle of flick, pin, dive continued for a few minutes, while Meyla sat and waited. He flew over her. "Don't worry Meyla, it always takes a while," he smiled at her and he headed back over the lake to continue his cycle. Meanwhile Vlad was helping Kaida catch fish. He was showing her how to aim a little to the side in order to make up for her eye. He also helped her with her reflexes and spotting the fish by little signs in the water that showed where they were hiding. |

Meyla sat patiently wight he rod in the water, though her attention was really on the half-naked boy across the small lake. She found herself staring, and then would snap back her attention to the fish or Kaida. Finally he flew back and she just gave a sheepish grin, pretending that she had been staring at the rod for the last while. Kaida listened, but was impatient to catch one of her own. If she missed she would snort and try again, but only int he hopes that one of her tries would be successful. |

Vlad continued for about twenty minutes until his sack could hold no more. He saw Meyla staring a few times and this only encouraged him to make his shots more dramatic and his dives more fluid. He was glad he kept in shape and he did not tire even after diving, swimming and flying almost simultaneously for so long. Exercise did pay pay off. He looked good and felt good. It also heloed his stamina that Meyla was observing. He flew back across and landed next to Meyla. He tossed mos of the fish to Volt and Kaida to munch on. Volt had already caught a few for himself but he wasn't sure if Kaida had. "Come on Kaida I know you can do it!" He cheered at her before sitting down cross-legged next to Meyla. He sat quietly for a few moments before realizing something was tugging at her line. "Meyla I think you got something!" he yelled excitedly. [Make it like a blue whale or sum..............or a really big fish  ]

(ahahhahaa) Kaida marched back with her two fish she managed to slap out of the water. But she was proud nonetheless. She added them to the pile vlad caught and took one for herself. Meyla was staring off... until Vlad caught her attention. "Oh!" She stood ups and tried to pull the string in, but it must be a strong fish, because she had to dig her heels in to move at all. "Are all fish this difficult!" she said in-between gasps and yanked up again. |

Vlad laughed and got behind her. He put his arms around her and grasped the rod as well. They both yanked and tugged for bit. Vlad needed to quickly explain to her about letting some line go then reeling in but she caught on quickly. Just as Vlad thought the rod was about to break, they reeled it in. (eeehhhh imma fish master) Meyla leaned into Vlad as they pulled in the line, and finally they fell back as the fish came out onto the shore and Kaida pounced on it quickly. Meyla scrambled off him in a slur of apologies and walked over. Looked like a large salmon... which was weird around here, but not rare. "Don't see one of those everyday." She smiled. |

Vlad blushed and stood up. "No need to apologize, it's fine." He surveyed her catch. He was stunned. It was an amazing catch. "That's the biggest Salmon I've ever seen caught by regular fishing methods-that is without a net. I'm so proud!" He hugged her in his excitement. "Let's get cooking," he said releasing her, lifting the fish and walking over to the Oak tree. |

Meyla grinned as he took her in a crushing hug. "Thanks... I think," she laughed and followed him over. She picked up logs and sticks and arranged them in the hole they had dug. With a spark the fire was up and they put the fish over to roast, though it would take a while. Her clothes were partially wet and clung to her. She figured it would be okay... So she pulled her long sleeve off and pants and lay them on a boulder next to the fire. She stood by the lake in a tank and shorts, observing the water. |

While the fish roasted, Vlad did as he usually would and took off his pants placing them by the fire to dry as well. All he had on now was a pair of [shorts, boxers, underwear? lol I'll go with shorts] shorts. He hid behind a Volt while his pants dried as his shorts were also wet and clung to him, showing him off in a rather exposing manner. Meanwhile he couldn't help but stare at Meyla. She just stared out at the lake. "Please don't turn around, please don't turn around." he muttered, silently urging his pants to dry faster. Meanwhile the smell of roasted fish made his stomach grumble. |

Metal had her arms crossed, and could smell roasting fish and the smell of a breeze from the east. Without warning she walked towards the lake again and dove in. She missed swimming, it had been a past time that she didn't have much time for in the present day. She pushed the water and swam endlessly through the lake. She spotted a few more fish too. She was glad to feel so at peace- something she hadn't felt since she moved here because of the humans. She finally bobbed her head back up and her hair had fallen out of its braid. She was almost in the middle of the water and turned around to spot the others. Kaida still stood in the shallows trying to catch more fish. |
