Well since Frozen came out in 2013 and won best animated movie of 2013, HTTYD 2 could easily win it for 2014 since it's coming out in 2014.

they go by relase year for the awards so yeah, HTTYD could easily (and hopefully will) win Best Animated Movie for 2014.



honestly though I love Dragons and Frozen the same amount. I get super excited oveer Disney and Dragons a lot (I've based a couple projects of them for Media Arts)


Frozen is one of my top 5 animated movies I'll watch over and over. I loved how it focoused on the love between sibblings instead of prince saves princess love. It was a nice change. And yes I know Lilo and Stitch did it too, and I love Stitch just as much. I found the music in Frozen amazing, (honestly I havent bought a soundtrack to a movie where there's the insturmental music included since The Lion King. (it's impossible to find the HTTYD soundtrack near me. Pluss I've got the songs already so yeah)




also the Squeeze and Growl Toothless is just too cute.
He purrs, gurrgles (as my friend describes it) and roars. I love it
I took the sound out though so if I roll onto him at night he won't roar and startle me awake.

Man I wish I could have the small, adorable little sitting up Toothless Spinmaster toy (the one with it's tongue out).

I found that at walmart the other day when I got DoB pt 2
along with the Bewilderbeast.

I am curious if it will be the highest grossing movie in 2014. The competitive is really hard this year: Hobbit 3, Transformers 4, GotG, Captain America, etc.

I think Captain America is with a box office of $700,000,000 the highest grossing at the moment in this year.

Personally I think it'll be either Transformers 4 or The Hobbit 3 (my bet is on Transformers) taking the number 1 spot.

There is no beating superhero movies anymore... which makes me think Big Hero 6 is going to be the big winner in animation this year. People will throw money at anything superhero related.
